Miami Beach is a Florida beach resort city in Miami-Dade County. On March 26, 1915, it became a legal entity. Between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, which divides the beach from the mainland city of Miami, the municipality is situated on natural and man-made barrier islands.
